National chain Trader Joe has issued a recall on its brand of creamy peanut butter after it has been linked to 29 cases of salmonella across 18 states.  The FDA and Center for Disease Control conducted an investigation after a string of Salmonella outbreaks and determined the source was from Trader Joe’s Creamy Salted Valencia Peanut Butter.  It is unknown if Alabama is on the unreleased list of reported states, but North Carolina, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island have each independently reported incidents through their health departments.  If you believe you have infected peanut butter, stop using it and return it to the store promptly for a refund.
