It is easy in the hustle and bustle of everyday life to overlook “everyday heroes.” Today we give a hearty thank you to the HEMSI personnel that were called to Madison Square Mall early this morning.
The paramedics that were called to the scene of an unscheduled baby delivery that had taken a tragic turn. According to www.al.com, the paramedics arrived and found just moments old Noah turning blue with his umbilical cord around his neck. The emergency personnel were able to act quickly, sever the cord, and wrap Noah in a blanket. Mother and baby went on to Huntsville Hospital in good condition. They may not wear capes or have superpowers, but these men and women are heroes for sure. Way to go HEMSI!
