New state law protects kids

Alabama now has a law designed to prevent kids from playing sports if a concussion is suspected.  The law was signed by Gov. Robert Bentley on June 9.  It requires parents and coaches to learn about the dangers (and hopefully symptoms) of concussions and stops kids from playing until cleared by a doctor.  This law addresses many levels of sports from peewee soccer to high school football.
